Thanks Chiara and Vickie! LOL, yes I was eager to try out parchment craft and so I started with ordinary vellum. And you probably remember one of my early pieces (you were kind enough to give me some tips) where I titled a post “Oh dear – I’ve murdered a parchment butterfly!” I found it helps to have the right scissors!! Hope you enjoy doing the parrots Chiara!
Oh, no! Murdering a butterfly! (I think we have all done that at one time or another.)
Haven’t started on the parrots, yet…will be as soon as I finish up the card I’m working on right now. Sometimes I wish I could work faster — it takes me forever to do just one card.
Oh gosh yes, I do remember that post you made when you began parching!!!! You were so upset at ‘murdering your butterfly’ and I couldn’t help but laugh….not at you, at the time, but ‘with’ you because as Chiara said, we ALL have murdered one thing or another in this awesome craft/art…..and most of us still do occasionally!! Everybody rallied round you though and made sure you kept on going…..and you did/have :))
